The SGP Ninth Grade Center has been renamed in honor of Dr. Vern Alexander. Dr. Alexander is the Deputy Superintendent of Student Support Services. Counseling Services falls under Student Support Services

Starting the year out right. GPISD school counselors were well represented as they volunteered their services during the Grand Back to School Fair at SGP. Families received a wealth of information from the staff, vendors and local community agencies on site.
