As part of our GPISD College and Career initiative, the SGP9 counselors have invited guest speakers to present career information to 9th grade students during lunches on Fridays throughout the school year. This past Friday we debuted Career Fridays and nearly sixty of our freshmen were able to meet our guest speaker Dr. Ilka Ratsaphangthong, a Pharmacy Clinical Manager and Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist for Methodist Dallas Medical Center (MDMC). Our students were able to ask questions and get valuable first-hand career information.
