Career Bound

 The winners of Austin ESA's Career Awareness poster contest. The counselor, Shannon Regalzi, exposed a variety of careers during GenTX Week and students chose a career and created artwork to display their future career.

Fifth grade students at Powell did a fantastic job sharing about their chosen career in a “wax museum” before the break. Students in kindergarten through 4th grade went through the museum and learned interesting facts about several different careers. The school counselor would like to thank the Powell 5th grade team for their help in making this such a huge success.

Eisenhower Elementary had a great GenTX Week. The students and teachers had an opportunity to wear college gear, create college posters or pennants, dress up, and hear career presentations.
