Counselors helping families for the Holidays!!

Fannin Families Receive Gifts

Over 50 Fannin Families received gifts on Wednesday. Special thanks go out to St. John Unleashed in Southlake, our GPISD Transportation Team, Charlette Hart, Crystal Torres, and Flavia Romero.  It took some teamwork, but the result was over 50 families, not just kids, but every member of the family will have presents for Christmas! Each student received 3 things they requested, 3 things identified as needs, and 3 things related to education.

We’re not done yet! This Saturday several Fannin teachers will be spending the first day of break in Southlake and at Fannin from 7:30 am through noon to deliver Christmas dinner to 100 Fannin Families!  We LOVE what we get to do here at Fannin!

SGP9 Angel Tree

SGP9's Friends of Rachel Club hosted an Angel Tree for the staff and students. Our gift givers who adopted angels included 38 teachers and 10 students. We received over 90 gifts which helped out 11 families (all who have a family member here at SGP9) and 29 kids.

Chocolate Mint Donations at Ochoa

Ochoa staff collected over 230 toys to benefit the organization Chocolate Mint, an organization that provides Christmas assistance to needy families. Our wonderful counselors, Ms. Jones and Ms. Balderas, guard the toys night and day.
