Our fourth and fifth grade scholars had a great day last Friday, enjoying appearances from our guests representing Grand Prairie Police Department, Grand Prairie Fire Department, Grand Prairie Better Business Bureau, Grand Prairie Libraries, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Dubiski Graphic Design, Cosmetology and Business career paths. Also, Dr. Espino MD, Dr. Cooper DNV, attorney Madalyn Wells, Mrs. Esmeralda Rodriguez, Mrs. Marissa Rodriguez from Liberty Tax Marketing, Chef Mrs. Talamantes and Mr. Scott Haltom from National Guard.

Career Day at De Zavala

Ms. McGriff and Mrs. Glover, counselors at De Zavala exposed students to more than 20 careers during career day. Students were able to hear about and ask questions on potential future careers.

Lee Career Day

Several city and district employees arranged their schedule to spend time with Lee students at our career day. Their willingness to share their secret to success with our staff and students about their career was one of the main ingredients to making it a success.

Dickinson Career Day

Dickinson Elementary welcomed many community members to share with students what it takes to be successful doing what you love.

Garner Career Day
There's no better career day than the ones at GFAA. From civil service workers to costume makers, our students enjoyed the presentations of over 20 fantastic speakers. Garner would like to thank all of our community and parent volunteers for making Friday a huge success.
