Williams Knocks Out Drugs
Wonderful Williams closed out Red Ribbon Week with a bang. Students and staff dressed like superheroes to knock out drugs. Heroes included Captain America, Superman/Woman, Batman and Robin, Wonder Woman, and Misty Knight.

Jackson Stand4Kind
Jackson Middle School counselors hosted the Stand4Kind Bully Prevention Rally sponsored by Impact Grand Prairie. The students and staff enjoyed being reminded to stand for kindness with a live band, an artist from Nickelodeon, and a former WWE wrestler.

Reagan RRW
Reagan Middle School celebrated Red Ribbon Week with many themes each day. The most special day was "You Won't See Reagan Doing Drugs" where the kids wore camouflage. The school also had the privilege of hosting Stand4Kind. It is an assembly that featured live performances from Nini, Chris Hollyfield and Foreign Figures. It was an incredible opportunity for the students to hear from others about the gift of kindness and the effect it has on all of us. Every Reagan Knight would like to thank the GPISD counseling department and Impact Grand Prairie for providing this awesome event for us to enjoy.

Hobbs Williams Lesson
First grade students and staff at Hobbs Williams made some accommodations to continue with an awesome Red Ribbon Week guidance lesson yesterday. Technical difficulties caused all the campus electricity to go out; however, it didn't stop first graders and the counselor from speaking about the dangers of poor choices. They moved their lesson outside. Students were well behaved, moved calmly, and were very respectful. The teachers were Jessica Henson and Shamonica Mauldin. Go, Wolves!

YWLA rocked out at the anti-bullying rally on Wednesday. A good time was had by all. Mrs. Culclager, the counselor, would like to thank the students, staff and especially the Stand 4 Kind team for making this celebration of kindness and compassion an enormous success.
Caring at GP ECHS
The Kindness Ambassadors at the GP ECHS led guided discussions on the importance of kindness and distributed leaves to all students to write affirmations. Their goal is to create a caring learning environment by doing intentional acts of kindness.
