Girls of the Month
Earlier this month the January and February 8th and 12th grade Girls of the Month were honored by the Soroptimist Club. Pictured are Barbara Dixon, president; Leslie Stull, District Girl of the Month Chairperson & School Counselor; Maya Amshay from Dubiski; Sarah Cliborn from GPFAA; Viviana Faz from SGPHS; Zuri Humphrey from GPFAA; Genesis Maldonado from Grand Prairie; Brandy Nwora from Truman; Katelyn Wood from Reagan, and Angela Giessner from the Soroptomist Club. Congratulations to these worthy recipients.
Williams STAAR Rally
Wonderful Williams had an awesome mini STAAR Rally with the 4th and 5th graders. Staff members Lauren Wirth, Estaban Soriano, Stephanie Humble and Taneshra Dixon participated in a skit to show students the improper way to take the STAAR test. Special guest Mr. Scott, martial arts/fitness instructor, provided students with encouraging words. Williams own counselor Tonya Womack Campbell kicked some rhymes to get students prepared for the test.
