Great times with students and at the LSSSCA Conference

Garner Fine Arts Academy kicked off GenTX Week with a college spirit day.
Crosswinds' Green & Clean Committee participated in Adopt-a-Street clean-up on Friday, November 2.

Ms. Salazar's class at Garcia Elementary is celebrating GenTX College and Career Week by wearing green for UNT.  Everyone in class got a UNT pencil as well.

Jackson counselors attended and presented at the Lone Star State School Counselors Conference. We love learning more about our profession and having fun while doing it. #GPISDCounselorsRock #TogetherWeAreStronger #lovewhatwedo #buildingbetterhumans

Counselors at De Zavala, Mrs. Glover and Ms. McGriff, continue to encourage students to Stand 4 Kind. Teachers and other staff members nominate students who have done random acts of kindness. Counselors deliver incentives to students caught doing good.
Students in grades 5-8 enjoyed the message and concert from Stand4Kind to support bully prevention at TWLA.
GPISD counselors are excited to come together at the School Counselor Annual Conference as they learn from each other and share new ideas to enhance their counseling program.

Jackson counselors Ali, Hill, and Moffitt had standing room only in their breakout session about coping skills. A job well done to this team for their awesome presentation at the Lone Star State School Counselor Association conference in Frisco.
