GPISD Counselors Rock!

Florence Hill Handprints on Hearts

Counselor Megan Hay at Florence Hill organized a Handprints on Hearts activity to make Christmas cards for a children's hospital while enjoying a cookie and holiday music. 

Dickinson Career Fair
Counselor Latavia Rivers is super proud of our fifth graders for a job well done on the Peer to Peer Career Fair.


Eisenhower Gen Tx. Week
Eisenhower had a great Generation Texas week. The students and the teachers had an opportunity to wear college gear, create college posters or pennants, dress up, and hear career presentations. 

Daniels Career Fair
Mrs. Mays, counselor at David Daniels, coordinated with 5th grade students and teachers to conduct a peer-to-peer career fair for KN-4th grade. Students were excited to showcase their plans for their futures.

Florence Hill Coffee Connection
Counselor Megan Hay and teacher Lindsay Reeves helped our student council to complete PART TWO of Starbucks coffee sleeves with inspirational quotes. 

Sallye Moore College and Career Prep Academy Career Explorations
Congratulations to the winners of the CTE Career Awareness Poster Contest. With help from the art teacher, Mrs. Desmarais, Counselor Neal selected one student from each grade level to represent Moore in the district contest. Good luck to all contestants. Pictured are the K-6th grade student winners.
