Grand Prairie City Council's Presentation to GPISD Counselors
On Tuesday, January 23, Grand Prairie's City Council presented the GPISD Counseling Department with a proclamation for our upcoming National School Counseling Week. National School Counseling Week is to be held on February 5-9. It was a proud moment for all who attended to be honored by our very own Mayor Ron Jensen and the City Council. GPISD counselors would also like to thank Dr. Alexander and Mr. Harrison for coming out to support us.
GPCI at The Compelling Why
GPCI school counselor Mrs. Swanigan took a group of scholars to The Compelling Why seminar. They learned about college readiness, career exploration, and how to find their purpose. The seminar was located at UT Dallas, and students toured the campus as well.
