Kindness Rocks!

The counselor at Garcia promoted our Be Kind campaign at the campus' STAAR Night by providing parents with ideas on what kindness looks like.

Dickinson counselor Latavia Rivers recognized Mrs. Ylda's kindergarten class with Kindness Duck pens for being so awesome.  They completed the most acts of kindness during our campus-wide kindness week.  Way to go! #BeKindGPISD

Thank you to the Eisenhower school counselors and Kindness Crew for spreading love and kindness on Valentine’s Day to the whole school. They handed out Valentine’s Day cards, treats, and cheer to everyone on the campus. Thank you for reminding us all to BE KIND!

School for the Highly Gifted - Be Kind: In Relationships. SHG upperclassmen had the opportunity to discuss the importance of Being Kind in Relationships through reflecting on Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.  They learned important values such as having and showing respect, trust, and keeping a sense of individuality in all relationships.  Creating and discussing their very own "Roadmaps to Healthy Relationships" was a blast.

Thank you to Adams Middle School counselors Mrs. Burton-Johnson and Mrs. Soliz, Fannin Middle School counselor Mrs. Gonzalez, and the Program Director for the Digital Arts and Technology Academy at Adams for coming to speak to the Eisenhower students and parents about transitioning to middle school on Valentine’s Day. Thank you for your commitment to our students.
