Crosswinds Accelerated High School PE Coach Bobbye Hill spoke at Career Day at the Global Leadership Academy at Barbara Bush


Truman Social Worker Ms. Barrett and Counselor Mrs. Blue-Hamilton spread kindness daily. 

 Garner FAA’s Kindness Crew members welcomed our volunteer speakers for Career Day and walked them to their classrooms. They did a great job introducing themselves and making the speakers feel comfortable. #BeKindGPISD


SGPHS Counseling Services team celebrated the upcoming arrival of our newest Warrior, with mommy to be, Maria Solano.
 Lee students are setting goals, capturing their future through the use of drawing glasses. The lesson was facilitated by counselor Ms. Todd. 


Counselors organized a job shadowing weather event project with Telemundo 39. There were some 4th and 5th grade student meteorologists who presented their severe weather projects and many of the students were able to witness the live viewing. It was a fun and exciting day at Ellen Ochoa STEM Academy!

 Our students at Barbara Bush Elementary enjoyed our Career Day yesterday. Our students K-5 had the opportunity to hear from many speakers about their careers. It was a day of having fun but also learning about the different possibilities for their future. 


Spring Career Day was a success at Garner FAA! A huge thanks to all of our amazing speakers that volunteered their time to visit our school yesterday. We had a wide range of careers from radio DJs to an interior designer, soccer coach, professional boxer, photographer, firefighters, chemical engineer, nurses, college professor, and retired U.S. State Department employee. 


Counselors Randle and Campbell (RC COLA) invited Recovery Resource Council to come and speak to students at YMLA about Teen Dating Violence, Bullying, and Building Healthy Relationships.  Students learned how to be safe, be leaders, and build relationships with the right tools.
