The David Daniels school counselor Mrs. Mays, along with the community liaison Ms. Clemmons, hosted a New Year, New You Health and Wellness Workshop for parents and students to learn about health and fitness.

Students at De Zavala got an opportunity to explore Career Cruising during technology hour. The students were excited to earn badges and were encouraged to continue to log in at home. School counselors Evetta McGriff and Nedin Glover share information with all students about Career Cruising when career and college announcements are made during the week.
Bowie's New Junior Optimist International Club
Proud counselor calling it in. Last night Bowie's Junior Optimist International Club helped host the Most Improved 4th Grader recognition ceremony. They greeted guests and were recognized for being the first GPISD school to join this prestigious club.
